Congratulations on having your abstract accepted for a poster presentation at OHBM 2026! This page serves as a comprehensive guide to assist you in preparing and presenting your poster effectively. Please review the information provided below to ensure you have all the necessary details and resources for a successful poster presentation experience. Please note there will be no live-streamed or virtual poster presentations this year.

POSTER NUMBERS: 

Please click here to view the spreadsheet which contains poster numbers and assigned standby times for all accepted posters.

 To locate your poster:

  1. Open the spreadsheet
  2. Use Ctrl+F (Windows) or Command+F (Mac)
  3. Search by either:
    1. Your abstract title, or
    2. The last name of the first author

Once located, you will find:

  1. Your poster number (Column A)
  2. Your assigned standby times (Column B and Column C)
     

POSTER HALL LOCATION: Exhibition Hall 1 of the Palais 2 l’Atlantique

POSTER STAND-BY TIMES: Each poster number is assigned to two stand-by times during OHBM 2026. Please see below:

Day Assignments

  • Posters 0001–1667: Monday, June 15 & Tuesday, June 16
  • Posters 1668–3333: Wednesday, June 17 & Thursday, June 18

Hourly Standby Blocks
Each day includes two 1-hour standby blocks. Poster numbers determine which hour you are assigned:

  • Odd-numbered posters: Hour 1 on both assigned days
  • Even-numbered posters: Hour 2 on both assigned days

Standby Times by Day

Monday, June 15 & Tuesday, June 16 (Posters 0001–1667)

  • Hour 1 (Odd-numbered posters):
    • Monday: 13:45–14:45
    • Tuesday: 12:30–13:30
  • Hour 2 (Even-numbered posters):
    • Monday: 14:45–15:45
    • Tuesday: 13:30–14:30

Wednesday, June 17 & Thursday, June 18 (Posters 1668–3333)

  • Hour 1 (Odd-numbered posters):
    • Wednesday: 12:45–13:45
    • Thursday: 13:45–14:45
  • Hour 2 (Even-numbered posters):
    • Wednesday: 13:45–14:45
    • Thursday: 14:45–15:45

Important: Each poster is assigned two standby times (one on each day), and presenters must be present at their poster during both assigned hours.

POSTER DISPLAY:

  • Posters must remain on display for the entire session on both assigned days
  • You are only required to be present during your assigned hour, but your poster should remain up throughout

POSTER SETUP TIMES:

  • Poster numbers 0001-1667: Monday, June 15  | 08:00 - 18:00
  • Poster numbers 1668-3333: Wednesday, June 17  | 08:00 - 18:00

POSTER REMOVAL TIMES:

  • Poster numbers 0001-1667: All posters must be removed no later than 18:00 on Tuesday, June 16.
  • Poster numbers 1668-3333: All posters must be removed no later than 17:15 on Thursday, June 18.

Please be aware that posters must be removed by the specified times on Tuesday and Thursday. Any remaining posters will be removed by volunteers and relocated. All posters left after removal on June 18 will be discarded.

SIZE REQUIREMENTS: 

All posters should be printed in vertical orientation and cannot exceed A0 size, which is 841mm by 1189mm (33in by 46in). This size standard ensures that your poster will fit appropriately on the display boards provided at the event.

OHBM will supply poster presenters with adhesive to securely attach their posters to the display boards.

Kindly be advised that OHBM staff will not be hanging posters.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

  • Registration: Please note that poster presenters must pre-register for the meeting and make their own travel and hotel arrangements. Click here to register today. Our website also provides information on hotel accommodations and airline travel discounts.
  • Substitute Presenters: If someone other than you will be presenting, please kindly forward this email to them and complete the Substitute Presenter Form. Please note that poster presentations must be delivered in person at the Annual Meeting. We are unable to accommodate virtual or live-streamed posters.
  • Poster Withdrawal: In case of extraordinary circumstances requiring the withdrawal of a paper, please promptly notify the OHBM Executive Office by completing the Abstract Withdrawal Form.
  • Visas: We encourage you to act promptly on visa applications if needed. To explore visa requirements for traveling to France for OHBM 2026, please visit the French Government Visa website to determine the best course of action for you. You can also find the OHBM Invitation Letter here.
