Yes! Educational Courses will begin on Sunday, June 14, 2026, ahead of the Opening Ceremony and Welcome Reception at the Palais 2 l’Atlantique in Bordeaux, France. A list of Educational Courses offered at OHBM 2026 can be viewed here.

Reduced Registration
Your registration fee may be reduced if you are currently living, working, or studying in any of the countries classified as Low or Lower-Middle Income by UNESCO Institute of Statistics and the World Bank (based on gross national income per capita). Awards and Grants (Now Closed)
OHBM is committed to supporting the participation of trainees and caregivers at the Annual Meeting through a range of awards and grants. All awardees for OHBM 2026 have now been notified. If you did not receive an email regarding an award or grant, you were not selected this year.
As of March 10, 2026, we reached capacity for Caregiver Grant applications and are no longer accepting submissions for this year.

A student member is a full-time student working towards a graduate degree (MS, PhD, or MD degree) or an individual who has completed such a degree less than 4 years ago.

OHBM 2026 is an in-person meeting. Posters must be presented onsite. Presenters may upload an e-poster and/or a short pre-recorded audio presentation in the conference platform, allowing attendees to view your work on demand.
Presenters are encouraged to attend both assigned standby times. If attending both is not possible, attending one is sufficient.
No. Poster numbers and schedules are assigned based on scientific category and space planning. Swaps are not permitted, as making exceptions for one would require opening the option to all 3,000+ presenters.
We are unable to accommodate virtual or live-streamed posters. You may designate a co-author or substitute presenter to present on your behalf by submitting the Substitute Presenter Form. In case of extraordinary circumstances requiring the withdrawal of a paper, please promptly notify the OHBM Executive Office by completing the Abstract Withdrawal Form.
No, OHBM will not be offering refunds under any circumstance. This includes registration cancellations due to visa issues.
You may designate a co-author or substitute presenter to present on your behalf by submitting the Substitute Presenter Form.
Exceptions can be made, but the substitute should be knowledgeable about the work and able to present it effectively.
No. Substitutions of topics or content are not allowed; presentations must reflect the accepted abstract or proposal.
Yes, updates are possible if submitted with full author details (first and last name, email address, affiliation(s)) and correct order. Changes will be made on the backend by the OHBM team. Please be aware that OHBM will not be accepting any edits to abstracts after May 29, 2026.
We cannot contact embassies or apply on your behalf. However, an official invitation letter can be provided to support your visa application.
