DESCRIPTION

Representing the Organisation of Human Brain Mapping (OHBM), the Neuroscience Alliance (NEURAL https://www.neurosciencealliance.org) brings together neuroscientists, clinicians, computer technicians, and human rights professionals. NEURAL works to engage and strengthen the global neuroscience community.
Recognizing critical inequalities across the globe with regard to neuroscience research and care in terms of diagnosis, prognosis and treatment, NEURAL works with the global community to strengthen equitable access to improve patient outcomes and scientific capacity.

Developed through an initiative in 2020, neuroscience professionals guide NEURAL's actions within a human rights-based approach and equity framework.

Our programmes are organized along 4 main axes of action:

  • Capacity Building for Researchers & Clinicians
  • Technical Assistance Programmes
  • Professional Engagement
  • Strengthening future neuroscientists
