Registration Information

NOTE: You must use your OHBM login credentials to register. The login credentials used during abstract submission are not valid for registration. Please contact info@humanbrainmapping.org if you are having problems logging in.

Also, Registration for OHBM 2019 includes a 22% VAT that is paid to the Italian government. Individuals (attendees) are able to recoup VAT and we have hired a company (TaxPort Authority) that will be onsite to assist individuals recoup those funds.

Please Note: One day registration is unique to the day of your choice and includes official Annual Meeting activities offered that day only. One day registration is not valid for Education courses on Sunday, June 9th. 2 day registration is not offered.

Educational Course Fees
Those attending Educational Courses are required to pay the rates as listed below. Both full and ½ day courses will be offered and attendees are allowed to move between courses as they desire.

Registration Information and Frequently Asked Questions
In order to help alleviate long lines at registration for those who need to register after the standard rates end, we are now keeping online registration open through the start of the meeting. You will be able to continue to register online after the May 29, 2019 deadline at the onsite rate, and your name badge will be ready for you to pick up at the registration desk in Rome. After June 7th, you will need to go to go the registration desk in Rome to get registered.  

Payment information
If you register in Rome, please note your payment will need to be in Euro if paying by cash or in USD if paying by credit card. The credit card must be in your possession to register in Rome.

What does my registration fee include?
Your registration fee includes access to all OHBM-sponsored Keynote Lectures, Symposia, Oral Sessions, poster sessions, poster receptions, exhibit hall, coffee breaks and admittance to the Welcome Reception and Club Night.

A separate fee applies if you wish to attend any Educational Courses on Sunday, June 9th (see Educational Course Rates above). Educational course titles and descriptions will be available in early March but we encourage you to register for them now. If you would like to add an educational course to your current registration, please contact info@humanbrainmapping.org.

OHBM will provide morning and afternoon coffee breaks each day. Lunch may be offered during industry sponsored symposia. The meeting registration includes a Sunday night welcome reception with heavy hors d'oeuvres. Many food options will be available within walking distance of the convention center for purchase. 

Will a printed program and abstract book be provided?
Condensed program books, schedule at a glance and a new pocket size schedule will be available to all attendees on site. Abstract books will be available online only. 

Student Eligibility
A student member is a full-time student working towards a graduate degree (M.S., Ph.D. or M.D. degree) or an individual who is no more than four years out after completing such a degree

Name Badges
Please note: we will NOT be mailing out name badges out this year. All attendees please pick up your badge on-site at the registration desk located on the first level.

Developing Country Reduced Registration Application
OHBM provides an opportunity for current members who reside and work in countries ranking low on The World Bank's country income classification list to apply for reduced registration rates (a 50% discount on the General Annual Meeting registration fees) for the OHBM Annual Meeting. Discounts do not apply to educational courses. Please Submit Your Application here.

Can I bring a guest?  How about my children?
You are welcome to bring a guest(s) to the Welcome Reception and / or Club Night. Guest tickets are available during pre-registration or onsite for $50USD per guest. Guests are not allowed in scientific programming without a registration badge. 

Child care grants will be made available again this year. An announcement and application will be sent out in February.

Social Events
You will receive one complimentary ticket to the Welcome Reception and Club Night with your registration. Please note that Club Night is intended for adults over the age of 21. Guest Tickets can be purchased for $50 each.

Cancellation
To cancel your meeting registration, please contact info@humanbrainmapping.org. A $50 cancellation fee will apply for cancellations after May 29, 2019. There are no refunds for cancellations received after June 5, 2019. No-shows and OHBM Membership dues will not be refunded.   

Changes such as name changes, form of payment and 2 or more registration type changes will be subject to a $25 handling fee. This fee does not apply to the addition of educational courses.

Press Registration
To register as a member of the press, please send your name, company, and verification of press credentials to info@humanbrainmapping.org.

*Also please note that photos will be taken at the annual meeting and by registering you give OHBM permission to use photos that you may appear in.
