Registration Frequently Asked Questions

When can I register for the Annual Meeting?
Registration for OHBM 2022 Annual Meeting is currently live! It will remain open through the end of the Annual Meeting, June 23, 2022, however, new this year, all attendees must register online. Please contact info@humanbrainmapping.org if you require assistance.

When can I register for the Educational Courses?
Registration for 2022 Educational Courses is currently live! It will remain open through June 19, 2022, however, new this year, all attendees must register online. Please contact info@humanbrainmapping.org if you require assistance.

How do I process payment for registration?
Payment by credit card online is the fastest and easiest way to register. If you wish to pay with a wire or check, please contact info@humanbrainmapping.org to request an OHBM invoice.

Is separate registration required for Educational Courses?
Yes, Educational Course registration is separate from the Annual Meeting registration. Attendees may register for either Educational Courses ONLY, Annual Meeting ONLY, or both events. Note that Educational Courses are being offered live/in-person only this year.

Who is considered a Student Member?
A student member is a full-time student working towards a graduate degree (MS, PhD, or MD degree) or an individual who is no more than four years out after completing such a degree.

Who qualifies for Developing Country Reduced Registration and how does one apply?
OHBM provides an opportunity for current members who reside and work in countries ranking low on The World Bank's country income classification list to apply for reduced registration rates (a 50% discount on the General Annual Meeting registration fees) for the OHBM Annual Meeting. Discounts do not apply to Educational Courses. Please Submit Your Application here.

Are press registrations available?

Annual Meeting Frequently Asked Questions

Will there be a virtual element to the Annual Meeting this year?
Yes, new this year, OHBM is offering a virtual meeting registration in addition to the traditional live/in-person meeting registration. The virtual meeting registration will include a 2-day virtual poster session, access to pre-recorded presentations, and select sessions streamed from Glasgow in real-time with the opportunity to participate in live Q&A sessions via the OHBM mobile app.

Note: Educational Courses are not available for virtual meeting registration this year. Virtual event access is included with live/in-person meeting registration.

Will OHBM provide lodging/hotel information for attendees?
OHBM does not provide accommodations for Annual Meeting attendees. Please see our recommended list of lodging and hotel information to book your own accommodation.

Will meals be provided at OHBM 2022 Annual Meeting?
Generally speaking, meals are not provided at the OHBM Annual Meeting. Food will be provided for purchase throughout the SEC event space.

Will I need a VISA to attend the meeting live in Glasgow, Scotland?
Attendees may require a visa to attend the OHBM 2022 Annual Meeting in Glasgow. You may apply for a visa three months prior to travel. All details can be found on the UK Home Office website.


COVID-19 Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a booster shot to be considered "Fully Vaccinated" and able to attend the Annual Meeting?
OHBM's first priority is the health and safety of all Annual Meeting attendees. OHBM has determined that, to attend the 2022 Annual Meeting, attendees must be vaccinated according to the World Health Organization guidelines and local government regulations which, at this time, do not require a booster shot of any sort.

Can I test for COVID-19 daily in place of getting vaccinated?
OHBM has no plans at this time to allow Annual Meeting attendees to test in place of getting vaccinated and are currently requiring all attendees to be vaccinated in order to attend this year's meeting.

Will I be required to wear a mask while attending the 2022 Annual Meeting?
OHBM Leadership is committed to hosting an in-person Annual Meeting that once again energizes and educates our community, while still ensuring those who participate remain healthy. That is why everyone will be required to wear a mask while in attendance of the 2022 Annual Meeting regardless of vaccination status or lack of symptoms. If I do not have symptoms of COVID-19 but would like to get tested, what should I do?
In-person attendees are expected to comply with all COVID-19 testing requirements including those mandated by airlines and the Glasgow government. If you do not have symptoms but have either come in contact with someone who has COVID-19 or you simply want to get tested, click here to find and schedule a rapid lateral flow test.

If I have symptoms of COVID-19 and need to get tested, what should I do?
In-person attendees are expected to comply with all COVID-19 testing requirements including those mandated by airlines and the Glasgow government. If you develop symptoms of COVID-19, you should immediately book a test through NHS Inform or, if you cannot get online, phone 119.
